We're very grateful to have a full house.

are members of AMMAC.

organizing from AMMAC.

at the end of the last summer.
00:00:57:09 And we keep growing and growing,
and we already have 100 members.

00:01:05:03 What does "AMMAC" stand for?
00:01:06:23 AMMAC is the association of editors of Catalunya.
00:01:11:00 It's an association that works in order to
get to know each other, and to acknowledge each other...
00:01:15:22 ...within the craft.
00:01:17:08 A fresh look to what editing is,
the craft of editing.
00:01:21:21 And be aware that we have a long road ahead.
Quite a long road.
00:01:25:16 We need to improve the way we work
in editing.

00:01:33:12 From feature films to documentaries,
advertising or internet pieces.
00:01:38:23 What's better than being at Docs Barcelona?
00:01:41:17 A documentary film festival for which
editing is very very very important.
00:01:46:01 On AMMAC's early days we met with Joan González,
director of the festival.
00:01:50:07 And he welcomed us with arms wide open.
00:01:52:22 And he said:
Whenever you are ready, come over.
00:01:54:21 Now we are ready, and here we are.

Master class sobre l'ofici del muntatge impartida per Joe Bini, al Festival Internacional Docs Barcelona 2019.

Joe Bini és muntador, guionista i director de cinema, conegut per la seva llarga col·laboració amb Werner Herzog en documentals tant notables com “Little Dieter Needs to Fly”, “Grizzly Man”, “Cave of Forgotten Dreams” i “Into the Abyss”, i pel·lícules com “Rescue Dawn” i “The Bad Lieutenant”: Port of Call New Orleans”. També ha treballat amb Andrea Arnold a “American Honey” i amb Lynne Ramsay a “We Need to Talk About Kevin” i “You Were Never Really Here”, una pel·lícula per la qual ha guanyat, recentment, el premi Independent Sprit Award al millor muntatge.

Va rebre un Emmy pel guio del documental “Roman Polanski: Wanted and Desired” i va dirigir una obra de teatre/pel·lícula en viu sobre el Kronos Quartet, titulada “A Thousand Thoughts”, que es va estrenar al Sundance Film Festival el 2018. Així com ha col·laborat com a assessor del Sundance Institute des del 2005.
